First of all, it is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to Korea Digestive Disease Week 2020 (KDDW 2020) hosted by the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy on behalf of the organizing committee of KDDW 2020. This event will be held as a virtual congress at the Swiss Grand Hotel Seoul, Korea from November 19th to 21th, 2020.

While COVID-19 is currently spreading around the world, we are grateful to your devotion and efforts to your clinical practice and research. With your health and safety in mind, the organizing committee of KDDW 2020 has decided to hold this conference as a virtual congress. We promise that we will be able to discuss the latest knowledge and your valuable works in the research field of digestive diseases. We will also strongly encourage global communication by sharing our opinions at any time and anywhere online.
In this congress, eight- member societies, the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Korean Society of Gastroenterology, Korean Association for the Study of the Liver, Korean Society of Neurogastroenterology and Motility, Korean Pancreatobiliary Association, Korean College of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research, Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases, and Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Cancer, have come together for KDDW 2020.

The KDDW 2020 Scientific Program will propose high- quality scientific sessions that will provide deeper knowledge and new perspectives. The program will serve as a highly rewarding international platform for every one of the participants, and we have no doubt that KDDW 2020 will contribute to the enhancement of the scientific level and quality of our field. The congress will be vivid as if you are in the actual location of the Congress and I wish you could grace us with your presence and support from home and abroad.
